Liebe Musikfreunde, am 15. März findet das nächste Konzert im Rahmen des Jazzweekend an der AB-Privatuniversität/Linz mit „Art of Zwoa“ statt. Gemeinsam mit Stephan Braun präsentieren wir unsere Musik vom aktuellen Programm der CD „Confidence“. „Duo Works" ist ein Projekt mit dem Grazer Vibraphonisten Raphael Paul Meinhart. Am 23.März spielen wir unser Programm in der Tribüne Linz - Theater am Südbahnhofmarkt“ und präsentieren die CD "Coming From Wittinghof", die im Frühjahr 2024 bei ATS-Records veröffentlicht wurde. Mit meinem Nonett tourte ich ende November 2024 in Mexiko. Der mexikanische Kurzfilmkünstler Juan Daniel begleitete diese Tournee und arbeitet derzeit an einem Kurzfilm mit den Aufnahmen. Das neue Programm vom Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra „SaltChamberMusic for Jazzorchestra“ ist kurz vor Veröffentlichung auf CD, wieder bei ATS Records. Dieses spannende Programm wird im April live gespielt. Am 18., 19. und 20. Juli präsentiert das Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra ein spezielles Programm mit dem französischen Akkordeonisten Richard Galliano. Über einen spannenden Prozess zum Equipment, der mich schon einige Zeit beschäftigt, berichte ich unter TP SPECIAL.

Dear friends, on March 15th the next concert will take place as part of the Jazzweekend at the AB-Privatuniversität/Linz with "Art of Zwoa". Together with Stephan Braun we will present our music from the current program of the CD “Confidence”. “Duo Works” is a project with the Graz vibraphonist Raphael Paul Meinhart. On March 23rd we will play our program in the “Tribüne Linz - Theater am Südbahnhofmarkt” and present the CD “Coming From Wittinghof”, which was released in spring 2024 by ATS-Records. I toured Mexico with my Nonett at the end of November 2024. The Mexican short film artist Juan Daniel accompanied this tour and is currently working on a short film with the recordings. The new program of the Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra “SaltChamberMusic for Jazzorchestra” is about to be released on CD, again by ATS Records. This exciting program will be played live in April. On July 18, 19 and 20, the Upper Austrian Jazz Orchestra will present a special program with the French accordionist Richard Galliano.
